Merriah was born and raised in the Buckeye State and most recently lived in Atlanta, Georgia, where she rediscovered her love for roller-skating. She graduated from Georgetown University with a BS in Biology and Emory University with a MPH in Epidemiology. Merriah spent the majority of her career in the government sector, most recently as a Health Scientist at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Merriah is interested in developing, testing, and evaluating multi-level health behavior change strategies that are informed by, but not limited to, communications and marketing theories and approaches. In her free time, you can find her at a skating rink, planning her next trip, exploring new restaurants, or thrift shopping.
