"The Chancellor's Fellowship has become more to me than I could have ever imagined. The support is beyond monetary, and is inclusive of professional, social, and community support that I truly value as an African-American doctoral student. What I value most about my experience as a Fellow is that the Chancellor's Fellowship Program embraced me not only as a scholar, but also a mother, community organizer, and growing professional. As a Fellow, I have the opportunity to engage in my doctoral pursuits inside and outside of the classroom, and for that I am not only grateful but also honored to be part of the program."
