FAQs

As part of the new pages.wustl.edu service, Arts & Sciences Computing used the new system to create a series of help sheets for prospective and current users.

The FAQs site describes the available features and then uses them to create help documentation.

The Haswell Lab

Dr. Elizabeth Haswell (Assistant Professor in Biology) started working with Pages a little over 6 months ago, and her site is still one of the most active.  The site replaced one that she had previously created with Dreamweaver.

Nathan M. Jensen

Nathan Jensen is an associate professor in the Political Science Department. He transfered his previous website to Pages in May of 2012.

One of the most unique features of Nathan's site is his very active research blog - something he says he would never have started without Pages.

Lucia Strader Lab

Lucia Strader is a new faculty member in Biology. She wanted to design and maintain her own website but had no prior web design experience. Pages enabled her to quickly put together site without spending hours learning a web design software package.

Professor Rebecca Copeland has been hosting her personal website on the Arts & Sciences server using HTML since the dawn of the Internet (or roughly 1999).

Senegal Summer Program

Assistant Dean Wilmetta Toliver-Diallo has been hosting her Senegal study abroad program website on the Arts & Sciences server using HTML since 2007. In September 2011, she approached Arts & Sciences Computing about how to update the site to reflect the new Arts & Sciences web brand.

The Pakrasi Lab

In September 2011, Frances Thuet, Senior Computer Systems Manager in the Biology Department, approached Arts & Sciences Computing about creating a new Drupal website for Professor Himadri Pakrasi.
