The McDonnell Academy International Leadership Institute (MAILI) is a five-week, academic experience for students from Washington University and the Academy’s international partner institutions. MAILI invites undergraduates to participate in the Academy’s vision of broadening international understanding and cooperation among the people and institutions of the world. Participants will:
- Develop global leadership skills
- Meet with current leaders in professional and academic fields
- Work with a team of students on real-world, local examples of global issues
- Live with international students, forming a network of tomorrow’s leaders
- Attend American cultural events
- Learn about graduate and professional study in the United States
- Earn 6 units of credit
