Natalia graduated from New York University in 2010 with a BA in French and anthropology with high honors. Currently, she is pursuing a PhD in anthropology. Her research is focused on Andean women’s activism in anti-mining movements in Peru. When not pursuing academic projects she enjoys cooking, reading fiction, and watching movies. Natalia also cherishes her involvement in the local community whether within Washington University, as part of the Graduate Student Senate, or in the greater St. Louis area through participation in community gardens.
