The course dates for this seminar are May 29 through June 20, 2013. Students will travel to sites in California and Hawaii beginning Sunday, June 2nd and will return to the mainland on Friday, June 21st.
The total cost of this year's On Location traveling seminar is limited to the actual enrollment cost of the course (i.e., tuition plus $250) -- which covers airfare, local transportation, lodging, and meal expenses. Please see WebSTAC course listings for the actual course enrollment fees.
NOTE: Most students will need to register under "L98 479" for this course, and only University College students will be allowed to register under "U89 4790."
(Interested PhD students should inquire directly with AMCS about summer funding options. All AMCS Certificate students are encouraged to participate in the On Location experience regardless of his or her specific research focus.)
enrollment is limited to 15 registered students; there will be a screening process to ensure an appropriate interdiscplinary mix of students is represented. a limited number of spots will be set aside for amcs undergraduate and graduate students. all washington university students and individuals from other institutions -- as well as from the local community -- are invited to participate in this experience.
