Sarah, originally from Topeka, Kansas, graduated with honors from Stanford University, with a degree in history. As a historian of 20th century Africa, Sarah explores the growth of girls’ rights in Kenya.

Natalia Guzmán Solano

Natalia graduated from New York University in 2010 with a BA in French and anthropology with high honors. Currently, she is pursuing a PhD in anthropology. Her research is focused on Andean women’s activism in anti-mining movements in Peru.
