  • Keywords:
CRISPR/Cas, Piggybac DNA transposon, micro-RNAs (miRNAs), RNA-binding proteins, colon cancer, Let-7

  • Research Interest:
My objective is to employ functional genomics in mouse models to identify new genetic pathways that regulate epithelial transformation in the intestine. My objective is to use CRISPR/Cas and Piggybac DNA transposon technologies for studying micro-RNAs (miRNAs) and RNA-binding proteins and their roles in colon cancer. I’m especially interested in the Let-7 family of miRNAs and how targets of Let-7 promote tumorigenesis.
