CGF Alan Ceaser steps into new role as Vice-President of the new WUVETS

Chancellor's Graduate Fellow Alan Ceaser is a veteran of the United States Navy, where he served as a hospital corpsman. He is very enthusiastic about being involved with WUVETS as it allows him to participate in the advocacy of veteran issues at WUSTL and connect with fellow WUSTL veterans as they pursue their educational goals.

As the WUVETS mission statement explains, WUVETS promotes a close community of student-veteran fellowship, maintains productive dialogue between the student veteran community and university administration, and raises awareness of veteran affairs through continued service and advocacy within the community.

Ceaser is a current Ph.D. student in the department of psychology. His research interests involve understanding the relationship between cognition, brain functioning, and clinical expression of serious mental illnesses like schizophrenia.
