Senegal Summer Program

Assistant Dean Wilmetta Toliver-Diallo has been hosting her Senegal study abroad program website on the Arts & Sciences server using HTML since 2007. In September 2011, she approached Arts & Sciences Computing about how to update the site to reflect the new Arts & Sciences web brand.

Wilmetta's Senegal website became one of the pilot websites for the new pages.wustl.edu service that A&S Computing was in the process of developing. Wilmetta feels Pages is an improvement because:

The web address is user friendly and the updates literally take 1/10 of the time that they did previously.  I also like the fact that aesthetically, it blends better with other Washington University web pages.

The Senegal Summer Program site uses the Bamboo Forest color scheme, a site banner, and photo albums.
