ZoMotion event

In October 2008, Holly and I did a ZoMotion event on Washington University campus as part of the Freshmen Reading program of events surrounding the book, "Field Notes from a Catastrophe."  It is an evironmental message, and our work provides an opportunity to encourage people to look at our relationship to trees and the natural world with a tangible sense of interdependence.

Dancing with Disease: A Dancer's Reflections on Moving with People with Parkinson's and Memory Loss

An opinion article I was invited to contribute to the Fontiers in Neurology research topic forum on "Sound, Music and Movement in Parkinson Disease." I share experiences of dancing with elders living with degenerative disease, and suggestions to researchers for further investigation from the experiential point of view.
