The purpose of Washington University Trailblazers is to acknowledge, commemorate and celebrate the contributions that Black alumni, faculty and staff have made to the institution and broader communities.  The initiative provides an opportunity for the university and local community to learn more about Washington University’s history, recognize Black change agents who have shaped the present-day institution, and make intergenerational connections with alumni, faculty, staff and current students.
